How long does the procedure take?

Multiple pulses are directed around the sight – each laser pulse takes a fraction of a second. The entire treatment can be completed in 15 to 20 minutes. However, we would advise you to be patient as making preparations and having a pre-treatment discussion with your doctor can take up to an hour.

Is it painful?

The process is virtually pain-free since the inner vaginal skin and wall have no pain receptors. However, in order to eliminate discomfort completely, a topical numbing cream is applied before administering laser treatment on the vulva.

What is the recovery time?

Recovery time is minimal – you can resume your daily activities right after; however, it is advisable to refrain from sexual intercourse for at least 5-7 days.

How many treatments do I need?

Depending on your age, you may need more than one treatment. However, if you are in your early twenties, you may need just one treatment after every 2 to 3 years. Even though you may notice a significant difference after just one treatment, we recommend the full course of three treatments for optimal results. What should I expect after my treatment?

You might feel slight burning sensation for next 12 hours after the treatment. Slight bleeding or discharge is not uncommon. So bringing your pads with you would be a good idea.
