Laser Vaginal Tightening Sheffield

A woman needs to feel special no matter what her age. Her intimate wellness is of utmost importance in order for physical, emotional, psychological and particularly, sexual wellbeing.

Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, more commonly known as Vaginal Tightening is a non-surgical treatment that uses cutting edge medical breakthroughs to seamlessly repair skin damage around the vaginal walls, which can occur due to child birth or the natural ageing process.

A vaginal tightening process entails penetration of controlled laser beams which are directed onto vaginal skin to stimulate natural production of elastin and collagen. When new collagen and elastin is naturally produced this way, the skin around the vagina naturally tightens, restoring a youthful appearance and improved intercourse sensation.

Many vaginal medical conditions can be treated by this procedure including

  • Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome (VRS)
  • Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI)
  • The Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause
  • Vulvar and Vaginal Atrophy (VVA
  • Vaginismus
  • Dyspareunia
  • Dryness and Itchiness

Why us?

Sheffield Aesthetics & Laser Clinic is the number one medical practice in UK for Vaginal Rejuvenation. We only use the latest laser technology and expert doctors to perform the treatment. We use CO2 laser from Syneron Candela called CO2RE Intima which is FDA and CE approved.

How long does the procedure take?

Multiple pulses are directed around the sight – each laser pulse takes a fraction of a second. The entire treatment can be completed in 15 to 20 minutes. However, we would advise you to be patient as making preparations and having a pre-treatment discussion with your doctor can take up to an hour.

Is it painful?

The process is virtually pain-free since the inner vaginal skin and wall have no pain receptors. However, in order to eliminate discomfort completely, a topical numbing cream is applied before administering laser treatment on the vulva.

What is the recovery time?

Recovery time is minimal – you can resume your daily activities right after; however, it is advisable to refrain from sexual intercourse for at least 5-7 days.

How many treatments do I need?

Depending on your age, you may need more than one treatment. However, if you are in your early twenties, you may need just one treatment after every 2 to 3 years. Even though you may notice a significant difference after just one treatment, we recommend the full course of three treatments for optimal results. Keeping all this in view, the total number of treatments can vary according to age and certain lifestyle factors. Our doctors will discuss everything with you in detail when you book your free consultation.

When will I notice the results?

You will start noticing the results after 4-5 weeks however, the real difference will be noticeable after full course of three treatments.

What should I expect after my treatment?

You might feel slight burning sensation for next 12 hours after the treatment. Slight bleeding or discharge is not uncommon. So bringing your pads with you would be a good idea.

Is there any aftercare required?

Aftercare will be discussed in detail by the doctor before you leave the clinic.
